Come and get noled at the Bell. Our sourdough pizzas are hand-stretched using our Neapolitan recipe. Flour is from Shipton Mill and we buy our toppings from over the road at La Chasse.

You can enjoy your pizza at the pub, in the comfort of your own home, or wherever you like to be honest. We’re not fussy. Fancy it more than just once a month? Why not nip to our little shop in Salisbury or to nole in the barn at The Pembroke in Wilton if you’re ever heading that way.

Hi gang, Just wanted to jump on here and say a hu Hi gang, Just wanted to jump on here and say a huge thank you for your understanding and continued support whilst our new walled garden doesn’t yet look like a new walled garden and instead looks more like a building site. We are pushing ahead now and work moves from our friends at Trymata Services to our friends at @countylandscapingsomerset who have a tight turnaround to get the space ready to reopen in a few weeks. I’m sure some of you are wondering why we chose to do this work when the weather is nice and the sun is shining. Frankly we didn’t, but obtaining planning permission took far longer than expected and even though it means a shorter summer trading in the garden than we’d like, it also means we’re now rid of a pothole ridden car park and collapsing barn. More space for you all to enjoy in the sun, and a project that marks the end of what we always wanted to achieve at the Bell. Times are hard for pubs right now. But whilst many are closing we’re pushing on - continuing to invest in pubs like the Bell to give our team a place of work they can be proud of. It’s not been a pretty ride, but as the end now approaches, and we make plans for our summer garden party, we are eternally grateful to everyone for continuing to visit us and subsequently give us the push we needed at times to spur us on and finish the job. The wall here was built from local greenstone and by local stonemasons. We know it’s only a wall, but there is something really quite unique about building something that we know will be there in hundreds of years to come. By which time, we hope, the Bell will still be a thriving local pub. A roaring village asset. And importantly a place for our neighbours to enjoy.
