The Bell & Crown is a historic inn that features all the hallmarks of a traditional country pub; low ceilings with beams, flagstone floors and open wood-burning fires. It sits just off the A303 in the village of Zeals, a convenient spot for a Sunday roast and a local ale or two after a stroll around the nearby and impressive gardens at Stourhead House.

Following a pretty serious renovation project that started in 2019, The Bell, which was the first pub we got our hands on, now has 6 cosy and comfortable bedrooms and an outside dining area that changes with the seasons. In the summer, guests are blessed with bright yellow views of rapeseed in the arable field opposite, where you can breathe in the country air and really relax.
