The Bell & Crown is surrounded by beautiful countryside walks, whether it’s a day outing at Stourhead or a simple stroll around the woods at King Alfred’s Tower.

After a day exploring, return to a cosy room, relax in the pub, and let your dog curl up nearby while you enjoy dinner.

Dog Stay Guidelines

To keep our inns enjoyable for everyone, we ask guests travelling with dogs to follow a few simple guidelines:

• Dogs are only permitted in designated dog-friendly rooms – please enquire with us directly regarding their availability before booking
• Dogs must be well behaved and house trained
• Maximum two dogs per room
• Dogs should not be allowed on beds or soft furnishings
• Dogs cannot be left alone in bedrooms

There is a £20 charge per dog per night.

We offer blankets and bowls as part of your welcome pack. If the blankets or bowls are taken home, a £50 replacement charge may apply.
